Edin Shabani graduated in Political Science at University American College in Skopje. He works on issues related to democracy, governance and security in the Western Balkans.
He currently serves as Justice, Human Rights and Communications Project Coordinator at WeGlobal, implementing EU-funded projects. Previously, he worked as Project Management Specialist within the Democracy and Governance Office at USAID North Macedonia.
Prior to this, Edin worked at the International Republican Institute as a Program Officer and at the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Skopje as Senior Officer for Security and Stability.
Earlier in his career, he worked on governance initiatives through USAID/OTI programming implemented by AECOM and Chemonics.
Throughout his professional career, he has worked closely with government institutions, international organizations, civil society actors, and media across the region.
He is fluent in Albanian, Macedonian, English and Serbian.
