Zoran Ilievski is a member of the Executive Board of the PRESPA Institute.
He Graduated Political Sciences at the Faculty of Law “Iustinianus Primus” at the University “Ss. Cyril and Methodius”. He received a Master’s Degree in European Integration and Regionalism at the University of Graz, Austria, and a Doctorate in Political Sciences at the University of “Ss. Cyril and Methodius” in Skopje. During his studies, he was twice declared as Best Student of the Generation, for which he was decorated.
Dr. Zoran Ilievski is a Tenured Professor of Political Science at the “Iustinianus Primus” Faculty of Law and Head of the Office for Southeast Europe of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, an international organization based in Malta.
As a researcher and head of international research projects, he has published over forty papers and two monographs, related to international relations, European integration, democratic consolidation, applied politics and especially the regulation of ethnic conflicts. He is the recipient of the European Order of St. George of Habsburg-Lothringen.
Ilievski is the head of the Center for Political Research and Analysis at the “Iustinianus Primus” Faculty of Law, president of East-West Bridge in Skopje and member of the presidency of East-West Bridge International, based in Belgrade, Serbia. He is an honorary member of the Southeast European Group at the Trilateral Commission (New York-Paris-Tokyo), and from 2009 to 2017, he was an Advisor to the President of the Republic of Macedonia, Coordinator of the Council for Foreign Relations of the President of the Republic of Macedonia and Program Coordinator of The President’s School of Young Leaders.
Professor Ilievski is a member of the Management Board for the mandate period 2023-2026
